Nigella (Black Caraway Seed)
The seeds of Nigella Sativa is a must have ingredient used to season Middle Eastern, South Asian and Southeast Asian cooking. One of the five spices used in the Bengali spice mix Paanch Phoran, it I also used to flavour Armenian string cheese. Common alternate names are Kalonji and Kaljeera.
