For our Punjabi Garam Masala, we roast, grind and hand-mix some of India’s most valued spices to create an aromatic masala, tasting rich and warm without being spicy hot. It works well in dal soups, rice and vegetable dishes like creamy spinach puree. Garam Masala is usually stirred into a dish towards the end of cooking, so as to not destroy the aromatic oils by over heating.
